Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) is the leader of economic and public administration higher education in Romania and Southeast Europe. Currently, more than 23,000 students are enrolled in 35 bachelor programs, 75 master programs and doctorate studies in 10 fields of research. These educational programs are provided by 13 faculties, in the broad fields of Economic Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Sociology, Modern Languages applied in Economics, and Law. ASE has strong partnerships with members of the Romanian business environment and high expertise in research and consulting the Romanian industrial sector. It brings to TRUE EUROPE local expertise from Romania, where there are few studies available on the role and contribution of industrial relations practices, experiences, and functioning in the formation of trust in local and sectoral employment relations.
CELSI is an independent non-profit research institute, based in Bratislava, SLovakia. It fosters multidisciplinary research about labor markets, working conditions and social dialogue. CELSI has a profound experience with international research projects in the field of industrial relations and social dialogue covering various EU member states. Besides its academic competence, CELSI provides expert data services, including data collection, processing, and analysis. Discussion papers, research reports and policy briefs, published on the CELSI website, cover a wide scope of research on labor markets, migration, new forms of work and social dialogue. CELSI brings to the consortium multiple expertise both in qualitative and quantitative research.
Dublin City University is a public university based in Dublin, Ireland. It has three campuses across Dublin city. It grew from its inception in 1975 to become one of the world’sleading young universities globally. DCU Business School is one of five faculties in the university and has a strong commitment to research excellence. The DCU team has research expertise broadly within the work and employment space, which will assist the exploration of the interests of trade unions and workers between the national levels and the EU level – a key part of the TRUE EUROPE project.
Linnaeus University (LNU) Linnaeus University (LNU) is a public university in Sweden. With a history since 1967, LNU covers a broad spectre of research and teaching in most disciplines, having approximately 2200 employees and 41000 students across the bachelor, masters, and PhD levels. The Department of Social Studies has a long tradition of working-life-related research, and currently it has a special expertise in industrial relations and social-dialogue related research in Sweden and comparative analysis in Europe, being partners in two ongoing EC-funded projects that are soon to be finalized. The LNU team possesses an expertise in studying the articulation of interests of trade unions and workers between the national levels and the EU levels, as well as national and European social dialogue processes, which are also key parts of the TRUE EUROPE project.
Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences (LCSS) is a national research institute, consisting of three institutes: Institute of Sociology (partner in TRUE EUROPE), Institute of Economics and Rural Development and Institute of Law. LCSS Institute of Sociology (LCSS IS) is carrying out long-term research and experimental (social, cultural) development, important to the State, society, international cooperation or economic operators. The LCSS team possesses an expertise in labour market and industrial relations research, employment policy evaluation and other social issues, develops recommendations on these issues for social policy formation and implementation.
The University of Belgrade - Faculty of Economics and Business (UB-FE) is a public educational and scientific institution. Founded in 1937, it is the most prominent scientific and educational institution in the country in the field of economic sciences. It cooperates intensively with a large number of foreign universities and institutes and participates in several international projects. The Research Centre of the Faculty of Economics (NICEF) has a rich experience in fundamental and applied research and is fully capable of making quality research from all segments of economic science.
