Building trust in collective bargaining: A co-creative workshop for Czechia and Slovakia

On Tuesday, June 3, an online workshop, led by CELSI researcher Monika Martišková, brought together participants from across sectors – automotive, banking and transport – to reflect on how to strengthen trust among social partners and make collective bargaining more effective and fair.

We kicked off by presenting results from the online DEMDIS debate, where over 30 participants from Slovakia and Czechia shared their views on trust in industrial relations.

CELSI researcher Adam Šumichrast then introduced findings from our national reports on social dialogue, followed by CELSI Director Marta Kahancová’s commentary on the Austrian context.

Together with our expert participants, we discussed and co-created a set of promising strategies to improve trust between employers and employee representatives. The participants voted on the most effective ones – and their input will directly shape our project outcomes!
